My Journey
2013
Opened a Roth IRA with money I earned from my first summer job—a bellman at The Red Lion Inn. My dad taught me the basics of investing and my interest was sparked immediately.
2017
Balanced school with music, performing at local venues alongside peers and professionals alike. Learned the value of practice and discipline.
My interest in markets and finance grew steadily into a fascination. I devoured historical texts, biographies and interviews of famous investors, and behavioral psychology research.
Learned how to collect and analyze data manually with Google Sheets, then Python. Launched my first few quantitative strategies with varied outcomes. Experienced large swings in my personal accounts—both up and down—that were essential in developing emotional stability and my capacity to make rational decisions under stress.
2021
Founded Zimmer Capital Management to share my investment strategies with friends and family and gain hands-on experience in the industry.
2023
While building ZCM, I continued to work in luxury hospitality, traveling to five states and meeting people from all walks of life. I saw firsthand how a lack of financial education can hold people back from achieving their goals. This motivated me to create a financial planning system designed specifically for everyday people—using simple language to empower confident, informed financial decisions.
